I Had A Dream ……

Early one morning about six months ago, I found myself in that luscious state between dreamy sleep and full conscious awakening. This is the state when Spirit communicates best with us. Our Ego minds are too sleepy to judge what messages we get and reject them as the wild rantings of our creative minds. These little inklings are the messages we need to trust and heed. It might be, “You need to read this book” or “It is time for more exercise”. Sage words from beyond.
That morning I received a lovely vision. I saw myself in a beautiful 2nd story bedroom with white furniture and a beautiful white cloverlet. I was impressed by the spacious openness and lack of clutter. It felt so good! I was standing barefoot feeling to coolness of the hardwood floors and staring out a large window that overlooked a body of water. Suddenly, my conscious mind snapped me into full awareness. I KNEW that it was a prophetic dream but my mind immediately began to question. How could this happen? How could I ever afford a room like that here in southern California where houses like that coast several million dollars?! Immediately, like Job, I placed my hand over my mouth so I would stop myself from questioning God. I said, “I believe this vision. I don’t know how you are going to make this happen but I am behind it 100%.”
Several months later, I was reading the local paper and I saw an unusual ad, “Win this $1,555,000 Palos Verdes Dream Home”. It was a raffle for a home built on a bluff overlooking the ocean. I clicked on the website and surfed through the pictures of the house. (http://pvartcenter.org/rafl08-descript.html) I saw the phenomenal view of the grand Pacific ocean. I saw the hardwood floors and white banister and fireplace in the master bedroom. Could this be the way, God was going to make my dream come true? For a mere $150 I could purchase a ticket and get in the drawing. I couldn’t resist. I thought of this as a refuge for people to come and visit and to escape to a place of peace and relaxation. It only seemed right that I should buy a ticket in the name of the ministry and open this home to people and the staff of Trinity, our main office.
So join us in believing that this just may be God’s will and that this home is meant for Healing Light Ministries and my family. Please take a moment to send positive thoughts and prayers out for the realization of this dream.
